When there is something new introduced most people resist the change(fear of the unknown).
Or want to wait and watch.
And then, there are those curious few who want to try it out first - the early adopters!
Once they try it, they share their excitement and can’t stop talking about it with others.
The next few want to try it due to word-of mouth or the fear of missing out.
Take for example, when there’s a brand new flavour in your coffee vending machine. Your co-worker Jill tries it and can’t stop raving about it.
You want to try it too. Then, you tell others, there’s a ripple effect, you get the drift….
In my experience, identifying change champions - those early adopters/super users of your new tool/platform can go a long way.
What’s been your experience?
