I am creating a conditional field flow where I would like to prevent an update to the state field if the due date is After to ‘Today’.  Is there a way to pass a variable like ‘Today’?  The filter works fine with a date value but need the date value to change every day.Thanks 

We are evaluating the most cost effective way to manage our licenses so are currently defining an archive process based mostly on lack of use.  I’d also like to downgrade a Portfolio-R/W license to a View Only license if I could tell if the user has not made any data updates in the past three months or so.   Does anyone know a way to do this?We are also considering alternative solutions like report subscriptions to keep licensing costs down and wonder if others have pursued this or any other solutions?Thanks!

I’m interested to explore adding skills to our resource pools (ideally driven from information hosted in our central resource/training database, but not critical), exploiting the skills criteria for Requirements & Allocation but to also report on any skills hotspots through PowerBI reporting.Information on the best way to configure and use the Skills in Portfolios seems very limited - does anyone have experience of this and any best practice they can share?

Has anyone created a BI report for Timesheet compliance??  We are trying to build one out via the automart and would like to see if other customers have also done this.  Thanks much 

We have Project resources that have “Team Member” license and we would like for them to be able to see the full project Gantt and update their tasks in that view. These resources work in several projects at the same time and the Tasks Module/ My work gets very confusing with all the tasks and sub-tasks that are listed. I know that they can enter the Tasks details and configure a view to show the Gantt + Grid and update the tasks in that view. Still, they need to be able to find which is the “main task” that can provide the biggest “umbrella”, otherwise they might end up in one of the sub-items. For a tool that claims to be collaborative this is a limitation that decreases team engagement. Ideally, the team member should be able to view and update only the tasks assigned to them, without messing around with the other team members tasks. Does anyone found a workaround? And a widget of the full project is not the solution, since it’s read only. Thanks

I am trying to write a validation on creation of a new parent link to prevent a leaf task from having subtasks added to it if the task has labor and/or non-labor resources assigned to it. It is relatively easy to check for labor resources using this logic:$Parent.EntityType='Task' && $Parent.ResourcesAndPlaceholdersCount>0    but I can’t see any field against the Parent to indicate explicitly that it has an NLR. I can use something like:Not IsEmptyOrZero($Parent.BudgetCostNLR) || Not IsEmptyOrZero($Parent.PlannedRevenueNLRhowever, this won’t pick up zero cost and revenue NLRs associated with the task. Does anyone know of a better way to identify if a task has NLRs associated to it?For information: If I don’t prevent subtasks being added to a task with NLRs, then all the NLRs associated with the new parent task are deleted by the system and ‘lost’ without any warning.Supplemental question: I selected to use ResourcesAndPlaceholdersCount (# of Resources) to identify if there a

We are using Logbook’s “Other” category to log data (name, date, team, comments) on our projects. We would like to be able to have a view showing ALL comments in one place...rather than having to go to each project and open the Logbook tab to see if there are any comments.  I am using the Logbook Template V1.2.pbit to try and create a view showing all Work items that have a Logbook entry associated with them.   In Power BI I’m trying to create a Matrix where the Rows are the Work item data and Logbook entry “name” (EntityAssociations: EntityID & EntityAssociations:EntityName, LogbookItems: Name), the Columns are the CustomAttributesConfigs: Name and the Values are the CustomAttributes: Value.valueWhen I try to use the CustomAttributeConfigs fields with the EntityAssociations fields in the same visual, I get an error - “Can’t determine relationships between the fields”.  I get this error when I try to use these in the same visual.  I can put them in separate visuals (list projects i

Has anyone used the SmartSheet import in ProjectPlace yet? We are vetting the possibility of replacing SmartSheet but I want to make sure it will work for our needs. What are some key takeaways those that have used it have?

We’re struggling with KPI management in ProjectPlace due to the way permissions work. Any user who has access to create or view a portfolio also has the ability to add, modify, or delete KPIs—and things can get messy very quickly.We’ve communicated to our Portfolio Admins that KPIs are shared across all teams using ProjectPlace, and that they should not deactivate or modify KPIs without broader consideration. Usually this message lands and things work out—but it only takes one rogue user to create chaos 😯.We experienced this again last week when a group renamed a large number of KPIs to “deleted” and marked them as deactivated because they decided they no longer wanted to use them. Hi everyone,I’m reaching out to ask whether anyone has experienced changes to system settings that caused OData queries to be limited to 50,000 rows.I recently ran into this issue in my environment—unexpectedly hitting a 50,000 row limit—despite previously being able to retrieve full datasets. After opening a support case, Customer Service resolved the issue on their end, but I still don’t have clarity on: Why it occurred in the first place, What was changed to fix it, And whether it could happen again. For the creation of iframes to display Power BI reports in AdaptiveWork, I want to embed an iframe at the project level and another at the portfolio level. However, I would like to apply dynamic filters based on the project (or portfolio) I am viewing, so the report filters the data automatically. How can I pass parameters from AdaptiveWork to Power BI for automatic filtering? Thanks in advance !
