Hello,
Anybody knows how i can bulk edit permissions on an important amount of action items ?
And also automatically apply permissions when the action item is created in the project ?
Hi
To bulk edit permissions on a large number of action items, you can use AdaptiveWork's configuration options to create workflows that modify permissions based on specific criteria. This involves using the Permissions Definition link to set up rules that automatically adjust permissions when certain conditions are met. For example, you can create a workflow that assigns editor permissions to a specific user group whenever a new action item is created or edited. This is done by defining the conditions under which the workflow should run and specifying the actions to be taken, such as adding or removing permission access levels for users, groups, or profiles. Please refer here - https://success.planview.com/Planview_AdaptiveWork/Permissions/Permission_Access_Levels#h_832720593261517836424938
To automatically apply permissions when an action item is created in a project, you can set up a workflow rule that triggers every time a record is created. You would define the evaluation criteria to always run and specify the actions to set the desired permissions. This ensures that the permissions are applied automatically based on the defined business rules.
Hello,
That works thank you !
