Hi all,has anyone on the April 2026 version seen any issues with dataset management? We’re unable to edit one of our data set due to the following error:  which seems a bit odd. When we download the .rsd file, the query is clearly there and the dataset refreshes fine for powerbi and other reports. Just wondering if anyone else has seen something similar in the Apr 2026 release.Best, Michal 

Right now all meetings are in Microsoft Teams, Channel Chats, Individual Chats, documents are stored in Teams etc. How do other companies incorporate that Execution into the Planview Suite and their workflows? ​

Can someone point to the details around OKR OData refresh interval? Is it refreshed automatically or do we need to manually refresh the OData anywhere? [Not talking about Portfolios OData, this is only about OKR Odata]. ThanksSakthi.

Hello -We are utilizing the plan/scheduling feature in Planview portfolios without any timekeeping involved. We are currently developing internal training for our project managers and I’m trying to outline the simplest path toward managing their schedules. We are expecting them to enter a project schedule at the start of the project and then maintain actual start and end dates for their phases and milestones as they are completed. We have relatively simple template set up that include successors and predecessors so the scheduling part of the process cascades accordingly when running the schedule.What is confusing me is that when we enter actual finish dates on a phase, I’m expecting to see the schedule for the next phase to reflect the actual finish date. For example, if the phase finished early, then the next phase should start earlier and the whole schedule should reflect an early finish. If the phase ended late, then the whole schedule should be pushed back. Is there a way to adjust

Hello All, The financials for our requirements are disappearing when the daily job runs, causing our forecasts to be off.  Is anyone else having issues with the financial forecast associated with requirements. The values for hours and FTEs remain but the financials disappear. 

Is anyone having issue with the Automart refreshing?  All of our dashboards are not refreshing. Jennifer

I regularly use Data Loader to bulk update details for our projects. I use the Adaptivework system ID as the primary key, however I would prefer to also keep project name/code columns in my excel upload file so that if I need to refer back at a later point to the excel file I can quickly identify the projects I have changed by name.Leaving the Project Name and Code columns in the sheet for my later reference however leaves me open to making inadvertent changes or I could miss a genuine update to the project name and/or code fields as there is a few days lag between my export and import.Is there a way to keep the project name and code columns in my excel sheet but EXCLUDE them from the data loader?

I have a task upload written using a SOAP call to the ITaskService3 service. I can get it to create new tasks, but it loads them like they are at the PPL level. They have the Work prefix that displays and no indent sign (see screenshot). I did some searching in the backend and it seems like the exec_type field is being set on these tasks even if I use the option not to copy missing values from Planview. Anyone else have this working and can maybe help?

I’m currently building the Project Manager persona view in Planview.Me and partnering closely with PMs across my organization to understand what visualizations, via the data visualization widget, would be most useful to them in their day-to-day work.Given the amount of available attributes, I’d love to tap into this community’s experience:Are there specific data visualization combinations that your PMs have found especially valuable or intuitive? Any home run visual setups that your PMs loved?Will be keeping insights at the work level, for now, but open to any type of chart available in the Data Visualization widget. Appreciate any examples or ideas! 

We upgraded to the February 2026 version and noticed that, in this release, the “Connection Graph” tab is now displayed. The Success Center documentation states that the Connection tab can be enabled through Menus & View Settings; however, there does not appear to be an option to hide or disable it once enabled—it only shows a green check mark. I currently have a support ticket submitted and am waiting to hear back. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this same issue.

Users need the ability to interact with summarized (grouped) report data directly within dashboards during meetings and discussions, without being redirected to other pages. This is important for maintaining context, improving usability, and enabling smoother navigation when presenting or analyzing data live.Current Limitation:When a grouped report is added to a dashboard, it is displayed in a summarized view. Clicking on a summary row redirects the user to the underlying project or record instead of expanding the grouped data within the dashboard itself. Unlike reports, dashboards do not support in-place expansion of grouped rows.Requested Enhancement:Enable drill-down or expand/collapse functionality within dashboard reports, allowing users to click on a grouped summary row and view the underlying items directly within the same dashboard (similar to how it works in the report view), without redirecting to another page.Expected Outcome:Users can seamlessly expand grouped data within d

I know Planview suggests using Standard Activities for managing resources’ leave, however this does not prevent the resource from being allocated to work items during that time. Has anyone found another solution to manage leave?

Is there an integration between IdeaPlace and Teams or Sharepoint.

We utilize Demand Managers to input Requirements into Projects.  Those requirements are “Assigned To” a Resource Manager / Supervisor.  Is there a way to prevent that Supervisor from “Over Allocating” to that requirement?  We see this when a Supervisor needs to “fill time” for one of their employees, and the often do this by Allocating that employee more that the project requirement needs.  

We currently use a risk assessment scoring model to determine Project Type and overall risk. While helpful, it does not fully capture project complexity, which we need to better determine the appropriate PM role (Business vs. IT, level of experience, etc.). Technical complexity is one example.We are not looking to change our risk model, instead are exploring other ways within Planview Portfolios to capture and evaluate project complexity. Question: Is anyone using lifecycle workflows, review gates, or role-based reviews in Portfolios to assess different dimensions of project complexity? Are there specific data elements that trigger additional reviews or notifications?
