Hi everyone,I’m reaching out to ask whether anyone has experienced changes to system settings that caused OData queries to be limited to 50,000 rows.I recently ran into this issue in my environment—unexpectedly hitting a 50,000 row limit—despite previously being able to retrieve full datasets. After opening a support case, Customer Service resolved the issue on their end, but I still don’t have clarity on: Why it occurred in the first place, What was changed to fix it, And whether it could happen again. I’d be really interested to hear if anyone else has encountered similar behaviour and, if so, what you learned from your communications with Planview and/or what measures you’ve put in place to ensure continuity of complete OData retrieval.Thanks in advance for any insight the community can share!

Product Enhancement Request – Shift Project Assignments (Shift Dates Action)Current BehaviorWhen using Shift Project Assignments, the system shifts assignments based on a dynamic window calculated as:Today – Shift Value (X days)Only assignment entries that fall within this window are shifted. Any assignments dated earlier than this calculated range are excluded from the operation.Key characteristics of the current behavior:The entire assignment range is not shifted, only the portion within the calculated window. The window is not visible or configurable in the UI. Users cannot select a custom start date for the shift. The shift operates on daily hours, which can result in partial and uneven distribution across months. For customers planning primarily in Units (%), this leads to varying unit values month to month, even though hours are not actively used in their planning model.This behavior is working as designed, but it is not intuitive and often differs from customer expectations.What

Managing dual languages using login environment language is supported only for standard fields.Unfortunately this functionality is not available for custom fields.For international companies that use multiple languages such as French/English, how do you manage this issue? Thanks in advance.

We are evaluating the most cost effective way to manage our licenses so are currently defining an archive process based mostly on lack of use.  I’d also like to downgrade a Portfolio-R/W license to a View Only license if I could tell if the user has not made any data updates in the past three months or so.   Does anyone know a way to do this?We are also considering alternative solutions like report subscriptions to keep licensing costs down and wonder if others have pursued this or any other solutions?Thanks!

I have a request from business that for the fixed fees users we don’t want to allow then to enter time and nor they appear in the plan allocation dropdown/selection. What could be the potential solution to achieve these situation?For new fixed fee resource i will create only user profile and not the resource profile so that then cannot enter/book time. And i will assign then some role which is specifically just allow them to view Portfolio. What to do with those profiles which are already presnt in the system?

I am creating a conditional field flow where I would like to prevent an update to the state field if the due date is After to ‘Today’.  Is there a way to pass a variable like ‘Today’?  The filter works fine with a date value but need the date value to change every day.Thanks 

Are stakeholders only allowed to view Published dashboards?  We have several stakeholders and a user is trying to send them a url to a dashboard they created but they are unable to see it.  They have stakeholder licenses and correct permissions.  If it is only published dashboards is there a way to take the existing dashboard and copy it to a published dashboard?

Dear Community, Has anyone else noticed anything strange when it comes to allocation details? Last year, one of our users reported that their name appeared in an allocation they couldn’t have created, they had no access to the resource or the project. After some analysis, we found out that the user wasn’t even logged into the system that day!We immediately opened a case with Customer Care, but so far, despite many attempts to prove that the issue is not on our side, we still don’t have a resolution and the data has been unreliable for more than a year!We even built a dataset from the allocation table to check for discrepancies between the created_by, requested_by, and approved_by columns. It turns out that in the requested_by column, there are cases where a person without the proper profile somehow managed to create a request for an allocation. They simply don’t have the right grants or role feature to perform the action.Customer Care suggested this might be related to copying project

Hello, We are working on deploying a Release Planning Tool - likely Jira. We have all our resources deployed in Portfolios so we want to maintain an integration from Jira to Portfolios. We also have an older Code Repository - EWM, that has already been integrated to Portfolios but we are considering de-coupling it to keep the integration cleaner. Anyone have experience in this kind of integration / OCM?

When using the Data Loader to perform bulk project uploads, the system currently allows duplicate project records to be created if existing projects are unintentionally included in a new upload file. There is no built-in validation or safeguard to prevent duplicates based on common identifiers such as Project Name or External ID unless the user explicitly uses PK-based updates.This behavior increases the risk of data integrity issues, especially for customers who perform recurring bulk uploads and manage large project portfolios.Current Behavior: Data Loader accepts rows for project creation even if a project with the same Name or identifier already exists.
