Hello,
I’m trying to automate task assignment on my projects by custom action and scheduled workflow rule.
I’ve tried to follow the guidelines i found here : https://success.planview.com/Planview_AdaptiveWork/Capacity_Planning_and_Resource_Management/Project_and_Task_Assignment/Automate_'Apply_Task_Assignment'_with_Configurations

But when i execute the action on a project, nothing seems to happen.
Has anyone succeeded before ?

Hi Amaury - The "Apply Task Assignment" custom action works when run manually on the Project object but is not supported in scheduled workflow rules—so triggering it through a scheduled workflow will not apply assignments as expected.

If you want to automate task assignment, we recommend running the custom action directly or reducing the scope when processing large data sets to avoid performance issues. Scheduled workflow automation for this function isn’t available at this time.
