I need to create custom action to delete current milestone and set the previous milestone as current one. Has anyone tried and can help?
i do not want to use the inbuilt delete button in ribbon. In that profile we do not give delete option in ribbon.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean with ‘current milestone’? Do you mean for it to be active? But if you delete the active one you’re on, I would assume the previous is already completed, so why activating it again?
Or did you mean the milestone after rather than the previous milestone?
If you just need to delete a milestone via custom action, you can create a custom action and under ‘Select Action’ you choose the ‘Delete Item’ option and then type in ‘CurrentObject()’:
