I have introduced a custom currency field on Time-Phase Labour Resources with a workflow to update it when needed. The updated value does appear against the individual work-item in the Financial Planning View (following refresh of the financial data), and sometimes it appears correctly in the summary view, however sometimes it does not get picked up into the rolled-up number.

My questions are : 

  • Can anyone let me know what triggers custom fields on Labor Resources Time Phase to be updated into the summary view?
  • How are people handling custom fields on Time Phase Labor Resources if they cannot be trusted to always roll up in terms of presenting the information to users?
