I’m looking for an example on how to set the custom panels height based on object relation count. Has anyone implemented this or something similar without css maneuvers?

Is there any documentation on View and ViewMode?

Finally I was hoping someone could explain this function to me GetBusinessUnit()

Love from Iceland :D

Hi Krissi in Iceland (what a beautiful country!),

Question 1: Sorry, I couldn’t come up with a solution to dynamically change the display height of a custom panel based on object relation count. That would be a great feature request to submit to the product team. Maybe reach out to your Planview CSM or account executive?
Question 2: Can you provide a bit more context on where View and ViewMode?

Question 3: We’ve often wondered about this function too. The best we can surmise is that this is a legacy function that currently serves no purpose. Perhaps there is/was a hidden object in the AdaptiveWork object model called Business Unit; this function appears to be designed to return the unique ID of a “Business Unit” record based on some hidden attribute of any field you supply it. But we’ve never gotten this function to do anything useful.

Hey Drew, thanks for the reply.

I've come across 'View' and 'ViewMode' while doing custom panel work and it sparked my interest.
I’ve noticed I can set conditions based on specific view names(Scheduling View f.x.).
I also saw some reference to the ViewMode being either ‘Expanded’ or ‘Narrow’(main or side container I assume). Just generous curiosity.

Hybrid Work:
I am curious on the community development-side of things in Hybrid Work.
Is the development experience being modernized along with the new UI in terms of
advanced-dev-documentations or even reusable components?
-Maybe not the appropriate place for this question, still something to think about :)
