We've seen cases where a resource's inbox gets flooded with email notifications when their timesheet is reopened—this happens because a reminder email is triggered each time and unfortunately, this can't be fine-tuned to limit the number of notifications per timesheets.
The only way to prevent these emails is to disable them entirely by navigating to System Settings Time Tracking (Section 13).
If you're using a specific configuration, I'd recommend reaching out to your PS contact to explore the best approach based on your setup.
