I can see any notes added at the project level using the  # of notes column in the Overview (as below) but I cant find a way to get my hands on a similar readout to any notes assigned at a task level using the same # of notes column - any ideas gratefully received?

Hello @FWalker,

That does sound unusual! I tried reproducing this in my demo environment by adding a note at the task level, and it worked as expected. The Tasks Overview page correctly displays the ‘Notes’ associated with each task as well.

By default, the ‘Notes’ section should appear under the ‘Add Related’ area, unless:

  • The section was accidentally minimized by someone,

  • The note(s) were saved as ‘Private’, or

  • No notes have been added yet and the current view in the ‘View Editor’ isn’t configured to ‘Show When Empty’.

The following snapshots for your reference.

1. Minimized or Private Note

2. View Editor - Show When Empty

Solution:
In the 1st & 3rd scenarios, I’d recommend opening the ‘Task Details’ drop-down menu and either selecting ‘Revert View’ or creating a ‘New View’. While doing so, make sure to check the ‘Show When Empty’ box before you ‘Save’ the view.

The below snapshots to guide you on how to ‘Revert View’ for the 1st scenario.

Accidentally Minimized the Notes Section (Revert View option lights up in the drop-down menu)
Post the Revert View click, the option greys out and the Notes Section returns to it's original place

Hope this helps!
