I regularly use Data Loader to bulk update details for our projects. I use the Adaptivework system ID as the primary key, however I would prefer to also keep project name/code columns in my excel upload file so that if I need to refer back at a later point to the excel file I can quickly identify the projects I have changed by name.
Leaving the Project Name and Code columns in the sheet for my later reference however leaves me open to making inadvertent changes or I could miss a genuine update to the project name and/or code fields as there is a few days lag between my export and import.
Is there a way to keep the project name and code columns in my excel sheet but EXCLUDE them from the data loader?
