We have Project resources that have “Team Member” license and we would like for them to be able to see the full project Gantt and update their tasks in that view. These resources work in several projects at the same time and the Tasks Module/ My work gets very confusing with all the tasks and sub-tasks that are listed.
I know that they can enter the Tasks details and configure a view to show the Gantt + Grid and update the tasks in that view. Still, they need to be able to find which is the “main task” that can provide the biggest “umbrella”, otherwise they might end up in one of the sub-items.

For a tool that claims to be collaborative this is a limitation that decreases team engagement. Ideally, the team member should be able to view and update only the tasks assigned to them, without messing around with the other team members tasks.
Does anyone found a workaround? And a widget of the full project is not the solution, since it’s read only.
