Hello PV Community,

Does anyone have experience or know how to move cases from one project to another? We have several cases associated to a project that can’t be re-added manually to the other project - so is there a way to bulk move cases? Or maybe export then re-import them in bulk?

Depends on the number of cases, but it can be done manually, by going to the “Resolved In” field and selecting the right project. 

Otherwise yes, by using the data loader you should be able to. You’d need to download all the cases you want to move, make sure to include all fields that are used, and simply change the resolved ID for the right project. After making sure everything got uploaded correctly, you’d need to use the data loader again to delete the old cases.

Honestly, the first option might be quicker unless you need to do it on 100 cases or more.
