Is it possible to set up a dependency so that a PM cannot request resources until a project task or milestone is marked complete?

Sorry this post didn’t get any replies sooner! I just came across it and thought I’d chime in with something that might help.
While AW doesn't have this feature out of the box, an admin can totally make it happen with some workflow and validation configuration!
Here's what you'll want to do:

Create Task/Milestone Dependencies

Create a validation rule - set up Validation in the configuration such that when a user marks a task as active, or if anyone tries to edit the resource field for the project, it should check if the predecessor is marked as complete or not.
