send reminder to assigned resources when 2 days are left from due date

I want to send email to assigned resources if task is yet Active and due date is in 2 days from today.

I tried to create a scheduled workflow rule but it did not trigger email.

can anyone share the sample condition and on which object it should be created?

Hello Deepti - This can be achieved by creating workflow rules. Please contact your CSM as they are familiar with your system.

there used to be an app http://www.clarizen.com/appsmarketplace/item/Email-Notification-Manager.html that you could modify to do the reminder - im sure its on teh PV website
