Validation Rule to prevent hours being allocated after the project due date

Hi all, I need some help with a validation rule that I’m creating to prevent hours being allocated on the Staffing Request after the project due date has passed.

Rule: If the due date is 03 May 2025 and I entered hours in July 2025, the VR will trigger.

But I’m not able to use nested fields in the VR. Please help. What am I doing wrong?

We were facing the same issue and PV PS said that is not possible. So instead we now have a warning message to the user when submitting SR after project due date. That is the best that we were able to achieve.

However, Resource Managers will not be able to approve any hour beyond project due date, that is a product feature - unfortunate.

Hi Stefan, thanks for sharing that you had the same issue. I have applied a similar warning message. Thanks again.
