I am trying to set a Phase field that is connected to milestones I have in my development project template.
The milestones are:
- Requirements
- Planning
- Development
- Deployment
- Go Live
The milestones are the same as the phases however, I want the phase field to be updated based on different triggers. Mainly I want the phase to be updated to the next phase in the list when the previous phase is completed. For instance, the phase should be “Planning” once the Requirements milestone completes. However, since there is no prior milestone/phase to Requirements I want the phase to be “Requirements” once the Requirements milestone starts and changes to Planning once the Requirements milestone completes.
