Hello, 

 

Hoping someone can help us please- 

We want to change everyone we have in Planview portfolios, so that people can only book 70% of people’s time, so that we are protecting 30% for other activities.  

 

I know we could add everyone the activities in but its a big admin job, I have seen on other questions on here, that you can amend calendars but this looks to be for individuals (please correct me if that is wrong and it can be done for everyone in one go?)

Planview will not stop a resource from being overbooked, but will give notifications when this occurs. You would have to update the calendar for each individual resource. If your company has the ability to utilize web services then bulk updates can be made to the resource’s calendar. If you do not have the internal technical resources to do this then you can look into submitting a RAS (if you have available RAS hours), or reach out to Planview’s Professional Services for help.
