Good day,

We desire to update the Changes, Risks, and Issues Tabs that are available for Work Entities. I have found this article on the Planview Customer Success Center which goes over these 3 tabs, including information on how users can customize the attributes and order displayed here. It is a nice feature that the users can update these views to their own preferences - however we are seeking a way to set up a default selection & order of the attributes displayed on these screens.

I have been digging through the success center and different admin screens to no avail. Can anyone help me locate where I can access these options, if they exist? Ideally we would have a set of default selected attributes and order when a user accesses any of these 3 screens from their project, so that key attributes are immediately visible and easily accessible:

Then users could use the following options to select additional attributes for display that they may want to track:

If anyone could provide me information on this subject, I would appreciate it greatly.

Thank you,

Jonah Hildebrandt

Hello @Jonah.Hildebrandt , I don’t have much experience with this functionality but wanted to be sure you were aware that Planview has recently introduced Logbook which will be used to capture CRIs in addition to assumptions, lessons learned, decisions, or any other category you decide to create.  They have not said if/when the older CRI functionality within Portfolios will be going away, but wanted to be sure you were aware of the newer functionality that was released to GA recently and available to customers that have the April 2024 version or beyond installed.

@pamela.sargent Thank you for your response! Yes, we are aware of the Logbook functionality, though we have not yet had an opportunity to delve into it. Should we not be able to solve our question, it sounds like it would be a good area for us to research more. I appreciate your input!

Thanks,

Jonah

@Jonah.Hildebrandt - I don’t think it is bad to continue down the path with the functionality you already have access to as long as you remain aware that any enhancements you would like to see may be negated due to the general conversion over to the new functionality of Logbook. Just wanted to be sure you didn’t get down the path too far to later be told that the existing functionality is going away...not something that I know will happen, just my assumption. :)
