We have a unique actual time billing process that requires us to pull actual time data from Planview Portfolios before the end of the month for some, but not all of our groups reporting time.  This is typically in the last week of the month.   We attempt to use the Cutoff Date to limit user’s ability to disapprove and edit timesheets that have already been billed.

Other groups however,  do not bill and would prefer to apply a different cutoff date,  typically further in the past.  We don’t see a way to adjust cutoff dates by Providing Org, Resource Node, or some other Resource Attribute.

Curious if anyone has a similar Use Case and/or ideas to solution this scenario.

@wingor2 Unfortunately, the Cutoff Date is a global setting in Planview Portfolios and can’t be adjusted by other attributes

@wingor2
Recommend that you look at the RES30/WRK30 Timesheet recharge reports.

https://success.planview.com/?cid=res30

These reports are designed to ensure that you can accurately collect all timesheet data, for downstream recharging or billing, and make sure that any subsequent changes, for example, submission of overdue timesheets, or adjustments to already posted timesheets, are identified and reported on. It prevents and revenue/cost recharge “leakage”.

This eliminates the need to be locking down the Cut-Off date.
