Did the Portfolios December update removed the map to capability for portfolios in Planview Admin?

Last month we had to update everyone’s email address in Planview. This was easy for us to do as we just had to export all of our users in Planview Admin to a csv, update the email address and import it back. We were able to keep our old email addresses in Portfolios and in Agileplace as we were able to use the map to function in Planview admin. After the December update in portfolios, the Planview Admin and Portfolios email addresses have to match in order to authenticate.

@Mario.munoz - I think the 12/13/24 PV Admin update was more impactful than maybe Planview anticipated. I’m disappointed more communication was not made about the change.  I see that there is no longer the option to map users, as you stated. We also have an issue that those who do a manual login, using a password, are having to reset their password every time they want to access Planview because of this update that was pushed out. Planview needs to bring more visibility to these PV Admin changes that could have a large impact to users as we are not all use to checking the release notes every week to see what they pushed out.

That’s a doozy, all right. Thanks for bringing this up, because I’ll be sure to share it with our team just in case it affects us in the future. Hopefully not, since we do single sign-on.
