We are currently working on refining our project prioritization scoring model within Planview for a healthcare environment and wanted to reach out to see how other organizations are approaching this.
For those using prioritization scoring as part of intake, governance, or ICP/capacity planning discussions:
- What scoring categories are you currently using?
- What percentage weighting have you assigned to each category?
- Have you found certain categories to be more important in healthcare environments (ex: patient safety, compliance, operational impact, strategic alignment, financial value, resource effort, etc.)?
- How are you handling regulatory or patient safety work in your scoring models?
- Are there any lessons learned or recommendations you would share before rolling out a prioritization framework enterprise-wide?
We are trying to establish a strong baseline model and would appreciate hearing how other healthcare organizations have structured their scoring approaches and governance discussions.
