Right now all meetings are in Microsoft Teams, Channel Chats, Individual Chats, documents are stored in Teams etc.

How do other companies incorporate that Execution into the Planview Suite and their workflows?

Hi @margotrogers it’s mostly done via custom URLs on configured screens, pointing to documentation or artefacts that sit outside Planview, like Teams or SharePoint. There are or at least used to be a few connector options, for example AgilePlace with Teams and AdaptiveWork with Teams but I’m not aware of any native connector specifically for Portfolios. In our setup, we have a few Teams channels for Planview users but for documentation in Sharepoint or Teams we generally just link out using custom URLs on configured screens.

Best,
Michal

This is because configured screens can have hyperlinks and other screens cannot?

Hi @margotrogers & @PiyushS

sorry for my late reply. Just to clarify, the approach I mentioned earlier should be seen as a workaround rather than desired solution. In connected delivery, the preferred solution is to use PP as the document repository but I understand why not everyone likes that setup. In our case, we’re working with a bit of a hybrid approach. When it comes to SharePoint/Teams as I mentioned we’re simply using standard links on the configured screen where you can add an External Reference Link, after first whitelisting the domain via Administer URL Allowlist. There’s also a native sharepoint option in Planview but in practice it still works like a link to sharepoint, so it can effectively be handled using a standard External Reference Link as well.

You can find more details on External URLs here:
