Hi @Geoff.Cuddy,
Is there any hope that these upcoming campaigns will be handled differently or yield better results compared to previous ones?
More generally, I am deeply disappointed with how enhancement requests are being handled. Over the last three years, I have created approximately 70 ideas, out of which only two have been implemented (and those were essentially bug fixes, not true enhancements, and taken into account after escalations).
Planview engages clients in campaigns and inner circles, but I have the impression that is not truly listening to what they are saying and what their needs are. This lack of responsiveness is concerning, especially after the effort we invest in providing feedback.
We invest significant time and effort in contributing ideas and participating in these processes. I would appreciate an honest perspective on how you plan to address the long-standing backlog of requests and ensure this engagement translates into actual improvements.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
Anna
Hi Anna,
Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback about our ideas submission process. We genuinely appreciate the time and insight you've contributed.
The changes we've implemented are designed to better align customer suggestions with our quarterly investment priorities. By focusing on specific areas, we can more effectively evaluate and implement your ideas rather than accumulating a large pool of suggestions that exceeds our implementation capacity.
Our approach now alternates between targeted campaigns and open submission periods (like this quarter), though even during open periods, only a select few ideas typically advance to our March planning cycle.
Each quarter, our development teams dedicate specific time exclusively to customer-submitted ideas, which we showcase in our monthly release webinars. While we're proud of this continuous progress, the reality is that with hundreds of suggestions received and limited resources, we can only implement a small fraction each quarter.
Our goal with these process adjustments is quality over quantity—fewer ideas overall, but with higher implementation rates because they align with our development priorities. We're continuously refining this approach based on feedback like yours to strike the right balance between gathering valuable customer input and delivering meaningful improvements.
Thank you for helping us improve our process and our product.
Best regards,
Geoff
