Progression Jobs flipping Progression flags to Do Not Progress: Yes

I’m having an issue where a few projects are experiencing an issue with progression jobs changing their flags at the project level as well as the task level. After progression jobs run on Sunday night the project is changed back to Do Not Progress: Yes, when it was previously set as No. This happens only on a few projects.

 

It also happens to a subset of tasks on these projects, but not all. The task will change back to Do Not Progress: Yes, when it was previously set as No.

 

Has anyone been able to determine what might be causing this change to occur?

I believe the Schedule Start is showing last Monday because your Progression job runs on Sunday at midnight, before the current timesheet week has finished. With your current setting (“period that finishes before the run”), the engine correctly selects the previous week.

To fix this, either:

  • Move the scheduled Progression run to Monday after 00:00 (e.g., 01:00 AM), or

  • Change the “Which period is selected…” setting in Administrate Progression.

After this, Schedule Start will correctly align with the current week’s Monday. If this does not resolve the issue, please raise a CC case so we can investigate further.
