A couple of weeks ago, somebody managed to switch off the ‘Use ProjectPlace’ global setting which supports the syncing of PP cards with Portfolios (we’re still trying to work out how this happened...)

That’s left us with 2 weeks worth of card updates which haven’t flowed through to Portfolios.  Many of these cards are now closed so will never be touched again.

Does anyone know - Is there a way to force-sync ProjectPlace cards to update Portfolios actions?

The cards will be synced over to Portfolios from ProjectPlace once the sync is established again! You can find the steps to re-establish the connection here.


Thanks @sindhukashyap but I don’t think that solves our problem - but we have no idea which projects are impacted so that would require an admin to go into every ProjectPlace site and manually trigger the sync in each.  Isn’t there a way to trigger a resync across the whole enterprise?


@James Bonfield  Actually there is an option to edit sync options for multiple projects in Work Portfolio->Portfolio View. You can make use of the column “Sync with projectPlace” and update the value for multiple projects without going into individual projects.
