Is there a way to get a notification on a subscription to know if it successfully completed or failed?

Hi Mario

I’m afraid I’m not clear on the question. Would you be able to provide more background to your query and what it is you are trying to achieve?

Thank you

Limor

I have created a subscription to a report that sends to an ftp site monthly. Last month the report failed. I would like to receive a notification in case fails again.

Hello @Mario.munoz

I believe your Subscription Notification is a Portfolios related question but you ended up asking the question in the AdaptiveWork channel and that's the reasons one of our AdaptiveWork Product Manager felt the question wasn't clear enough so please allow me sometime to check and see if I can move the topic to the Portfolios ‘Ask your Community’ section and circle back.

@Mario.munoz - I have not seen any functionality, currently available, that sends a notification to a PV Admin of a subscription failure. I have done 2 things in my processes when handling report subscriptions.

  1. Also send the report to myself so if I didn’t get it then it triggers me to go look.
  2. Make a habit of checking the Subscription management page and check for the green check to ensure the subscription was sent.

Unfortunately if the failure is at the FTP site and not within the subscription itself then that’s a different issue.  Can you setup email notifications from your FTP site when something is updated?

May be a good enhancement request to add: https://e1.spigit.com/e1prmcontinuous/Page/ViewIdeas
