Timesheet Auto Approval action for Resource Manager

Hi ​@PiyushS, not sure if that’s possible in Portfolios. You can set up automatic approval for everyone and add exceptions for manual approval but this is based on resource type, not user role. Are you currently using auto approval for everyone or is manual action required?

How we are currently doing is that we have set reminder email to all Resource Manager to approve submitted timesheet on every Monday, i.e user should be submitting their timesheet by EOD Friday.

Now that there is some changes in the organization what we are planning to reduce RM’s work on Monday regardless of the submitted hours, leadership has asked to find out the way to auto approve the timesheets on behalf of RM’s i.e on every Monday timesheet has to be approved. Also that to based on the Managing group let say we are from Global IT so we need this facility only for our Global IT managing group.
