I am trying to determine a way track the financial costs and hours from multiple locations within a single project.
Each location/project combination has a code associated with its financial system to associate with an account line item. For instance, I may have Project A with Travel costs from Spain with account# ABCD and Travel Costs from India with account#1234. I need to keep them distinct so that the accounting teams from the respective locations can upload and download their data into the same project without risk of overwriting each other. I feel like I should be able to add a text field to the financial planning lines but can’t seem to figure out how. It needs to be text and not an alternate structure as it will be different for every location/project combination.
That is how I envision it. If there is some other method or existing capability that I am missing, I am open to suggestions. Thanks
