I’m looking for a report or resource view to identify overallocated resources working on a collection (portfolio) of projects.  The Staffing view for a single project (work) is perfect.  It shows remaining capacity and includes work both on the selected project as well as any other projects where those resources are allocated.  I’m looking for the same view, except I want to select a work portfolio to identify the resources to review.  WRK29 - Resource Utilization sort of does this, but it is a bit cumbersome.  Does anyone know of another report or screen that I’m missing?  I know I can get there with a custom Power BI report, but I’m hoping that there may be a simpler option.

Maybe try WRK 29 - Resource Utilization and see if that does the trick.

Overview

This report provides insight into the utilization of resources assigned to work on a single project or portfolio of projects. It shows the capacity of the assigned resources, the utilization of these resources on work in the portfolio/project and (optionally) displays out-of-portfolio demand. Out-of-portfolio demand is assignments to work and standard activities that are not included in the selected work portfolio/project. The demand is based on requirements, reserves, and allocations in the project schedules. Data can be pivoted by different resource dimensions, time sliced in weeks or months, and displayed in hours, days or FTEs.
