I am looking for guidance on the native options inside Planview for calculating:

CPI (Cost Performance Index)

SPI (Schedule Performance Index)
We are using Earned Value management within Planview, and we already have access to:

Earned Value (EV) – predefined attribute

Planned Value (PV)
-
Actual Costs to Date
Before choosing an approach, I would like to understand:
1. Which Planview features can be used to calculate CPI and SPI internally?
For example:

Calculated Attributes
-
Subtotal Attributes
-
Custom Fields
-
Scripted Dialogs (accumulator-based)
-
Any other built-in EV configuration options
2. Are EV, PV, and Actual Cost fields available for use in those features?
Or are there structure/visibility restrictions that prevent them from appearing in calculated fields or scripted dialog operands?
3. If other customers have implemented CPI or SPI within Planview (not external BI tools), which approach worked best in practice?
4. Are there any limitations or prerequisites (e.g., attribute structure, EV settings, security roles) that we should be aware of before implementing these indices?
My goal is to understand the supported internal methods for maintaining CPI and SPI in Planview, and which approach is recommended.
