Currently when we create a project the Progression Options for Allocations is set to “Respect Finish Dates”.  Based on the needs of our organization we have been setting this to “Expire Effort and Respect Finish Dates”.  Is there any way to make Expire Effort the “default” setting for when we create new work items?  Or do we have to remember to change it as part of our new project process?

@Thbutler - you can set the default value within the attribute definition or you can set the value within a project template and when that template is applied to a new project it would then have those values set.

Maybe you’ve tried these options already and did not get the results you were looking for.

Best regards,

Pam

@pamela.sargent I didn’t realize these are under attributes.  I was looking for a setting under the Progression settings or Global Options.

Thanks
