Projectplace Copilot Connectivity Inquiry- September 2025

Hello Projectplace Community, one inquiry I had is whether Copilot within Projectplace (AI Chatbot) has the same sort of implementation that it does with portfolios in terms of how it manages it’s data processing (i.e sending data back to copilot post-inquiry). We’re quite strict on how our data is managed and when the copilot feature initially came to Portfolios we took it back to our CSM and they notified us that our data does not get stored in a dedicated server, it will feedback into copilot and thus we disabled that functionality. If the feature in Projectplace does the same then we will most likely be unable to make use of the functionality once again. Any and all thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks for the great question! Here’s some clarity on how Anvi handles data within Projectplace:

All Anvi (Copilot) conversations across all products and all customers are stored in a shared, multi-tenant database. Each customer’s data is tagged with strict tenant identifiers, so while the storage is multi-tenant, the risk of anyone accessing another customer’s information is extremely low to nil.

This differs from Portfolios, which is a single-tenant environment. Projectplace, like Anvi, is a multi-tenant system, so the data handling model is consistent with how Anvi operates across products.

If your team disabled Copilot in Portfolios due to single-tenant vs multi-tenant concerns, the same considerations would apply here since Projectplace uses Anvi’s multi-tenant approach.
