Has anyone integrated Portfolios with AgilePlace using Planview Hub? We have a lot of information coming from Jira into AgilePlace; however, we cannot move that data to Portfolios.
The out-of-the-box (OTB) Planview sync only allows a very small set of fields to be migrated.
+2I could be wrong, but I think the functionality is going to improve soon. We have similar issues with the OTB version, which we use quite heavily. Connecting with Jira is a high priority, but the annoying thing is that every Jira instance requires separate configuration. I guess that keeps the admins busy!
We are in the process of using the Planview Hub as the connector between Portfolios and AgilePlace. We currently use it to integrate with Jira and have had the same request to move additional data into Portfolios.
We are just beginning this process and there are some native connector fields that we will have to creatively replace using custom fields in AgilePlace however, we are hoping that by using the Hub, our user experience will improve not only with the additional information populating from Jira but also with Planview Portfolios Agile Costing module.
If anyone else is using the Planview Hub, I would be very interested in your experience :).
