I'm writing to request an enhancement for the AdaptiveWork tool to allow access to Change History data via the REST API. Currently, this capability is not available, and the only method to access Change History data is by manually exporting it to Excel. Given the increasing volume of Change History data, manual export is becoming cumbersome and inefficient.

Suggested Enhancement:

  • Develop a REST API endpoint that provides access to Change History data.
  • Include necessary query parameters that allow filtering by date range, project, or specific change types to manage data volume and retrieval efficiently.

Impact and Benefits:

  • Streamline the data retrieval process for large volumes of Change History data.
  • Enable automated integration of Change History data into other systems or processes.
  • Improve efficiency in monitoring and reporting changes across projects.

Implementing this feature would significantly enhance the utility of AdaptiveWork by allowing seamless integration and automation, thus saving time and reducing the potential for errors associated with manual exports.
