The Roadmap feature for Project or Portfolio work plans as a ton of potential, but is hard to get value from in current state. Here are a few quick hitting ideas that could make this feature a lot more valuable to organizations like ours:
- Because there can be overlap in Milestone timelines, spacing out the Milestone bars into separate ‘collapsible/expandable rows’ would make it much easier to read (similar to a Gantt view from the milestone level, but on the roadmap).
- Ability to add Key Dates (i.e. an important task/milestone dates) as a callout to a specific project. Currently the Key Dates feature adds it generically to the roadmap and its manually created. This especially becomes unclear which project a date belongs to on a Portfolio roadmap. It would also be nice to just select a work item/date from the work plan.
- Ability to add roadmaps to a dashboard.
