Inner Circle - Cross Organizational Integrations
Planview Hub is introducing an exciting new capability which allows a “satellite” instance of Hub to provide controlled access to data within its local repositories to a linked, remote “primary” Hub instance.
What does that mean exactly? You will now have greater control that is simpler to configure and maintain than previous methods of using Hub across organizations. This configuration allows the satellite to determine what information (including projects, artifacts, fields, etc.) is shared with the primary. Its implementation provides improved security and protection against unintended data flow and simplifies connections between organizations.
The primary use cases for this capability include integrations that cross company boundaries, in particular manufacturer and supplier relationships across digital supply chains. The goal of this Inner Circle is to identify gaps and opportunities to improve our designs to address a wider set of applicable use cases.
