Hello

Do you use the Critical Chain Project Management approach in AdaptiveWork? Some time ago (when the name was Clarizen), Raphael Kairy told us that some customers use AW with CCPM.

Best regards,

Pierre

Hi Pierre

Indeed AdaptiveWork does have the Critical Path. In your Project Work Plan settings, please add the Critical Path column to your view to understand which of your work items are on the critical path.

When you switch to the Gantt View display you can choose to display the Critical Path as well.

Hope this was helpful.

Hi everyone,

Yes I know about the Critical Path. The Critical Chain Project Management approach is slightly different from the Critical Path. It requires dynamic buffers management and some reporting features (Fever charts for projects and portfolios) I did not see as of now in AdaptiveWork. After Critical Path, we consider to also use the Critical Chain approach for some projects.

Best regards,

Pierre
