We want to bring your attention to an important upcoming change affecting the AdaptiveWork-Salesforce integration through our iHub platform.
Critical Update Overview Salesforce has announced the end of support for Workflow Rules and Process Builder effective December 31, 2025. This change requires action from all customers using our Salesforce integration.
ย
What This Means for You
- Salesforce will discontinue support for Workflow Rules and Process Builder after December 31, 2025
- No customer support or bug fixes will be available for these features post-2025
- All automation will need to migrate to Salesforce Flow Builder
๏ธ Our Solution To ensure uninterrupted service, Planview is introducing a new feature in iHub that will:
- Automatically convert existing Workflow Rule-based events to Flow Builder
- Enable new iHub events to be created directly with Flow Builder
- Maintain all existing integration functionality through this transition
How the Transition Works When the feature is enabled:
- Existing iHub events (currently using Workflow Rules) will be automatically mapped to Flow when modified
- All new iHub events will be created using Flow Builder by default
- Original Workflow Rules will be safely deleted after successful migration
Required Actions To prepare for this transition, please:
- Enable Flow Builder in your Salesforce instance
- Plan your migration timeline well before the December 2025 deadline
- Watch for additional communications about the feature release
Best Practices
- Test the transition in a sandbox environment first
- Document your current workflow configurations
- Review any custom implementations with your Planview representative
