I'm currently focused on optimizing our employees' workload. I've been tasked with calculating the bank holidays each user has, which we need to deduct from their total working hours. While the app handles this deduction once public holidays are loaded, I'm looking to display this figure in a report. My approach involves creating a custom duration field to showcase this in hours.
However, I'm facing a challenge in determining the bank holiday hours. Has anyone encountered a similar situation or have any recommendations? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Hello Carlos,
Unfortunately, I am personally unaware of a way that creating a cross-tab report showing Capacity, which also shows exceptions in user calendars will show you what you want to see because you are unable to see which exceptions are PTO, Sick day, Bank Holiday, etc… so that will not work.
However, if you put time entries within a Project specific to Holidays (aka Bank Holiday) you can show this in a report. The key is to update the field “Resource Utilization Category”. This is an OOTB picklist field that has a number of options like Training, PTO, Other, etc. These can then be shown in a cross-tab report and you can show the column data by Resource Utilization Category type or group by. If you add the value “Bank Holiday” to the picklist, you can then specify this value on the work item where you are adding all the Bank Holiday time entries for each user (the time entries are manual entry). When you create your report, filter by and show the column “Actual Approved on Bank Holiday”. I do not have this value but as an example, the image below shows how I can add Actual Approved on PTO or any other values that are based on the Resource Utilization Category picklist.
Note: “Actual Approved” refers to approved time entries.
