Unlike parent-child relationships that show work breakdown, dependencies highlight when one piece of work must progress before another can move forward.

Key Capabilities

• Create dependencies between cards on the same or different boards (incoming & outgoing).

• Add rich context with metadata like timing (Finish-to-Start, Finish-to-Finish, etc.).

• View from both sides – see dependencies directly from each connected card.

• Dedicated tabs in card details for Parent/Child and Dependency relationships.

• Quick connect option via right-click for faster workflows.

Managing Dependencies

• Dependencies Tab: Review, update, and track all incoming/outgoing dependencies.

• Parent/Child Tab: Manage hierarchy alongside dependencies for a full picture.

• Context Menu Shortcut: Quickly connect existing cards as dependencies right from the board view.
