Hello,

We have a team that reviews documents associated with a project; this is initiated by a lifecycle step.  Sometimes they have to send it back to the user for revision.   They would like to receive an automated notification when the file has been updated and re-uploaded...sometimes more than once.  Have any of you have been able to make this happen without creating additional lifecycle steps to loop the document/content review process?

Thank you.

I’m not sure if this would fully cover it since we don’t work much with content management, but it looks like there’s an automated notification when a document gets modified.
I’m not entirely sure if re-uploading counts as a modification though, so that’s something you’d probably need to test:

Thank you for your reply.  We have Email Configuration notifications enabled for both Modified Documents & New Document, but no email notifications are going out.   I am enabling the Portal Configuration to see if anyone starts getting notifications.

@SVarney would recommend using ProjectPlace to manage documents, rather than Portfolios Content Management. It has much richer capabilities

Thank you. That would be a big shift for us to make that change, but it may resolve their problems with just “waiting” for someone to finish their reviews.  I will look into this option.
