Hi All,
One of our KPI/OKRs is counting milestones of a certain type across all our projects.
We have defined the Milestone Type and would like to have a metric that automatically counts the number of Milestones of “Type A” per quarter etc…
Does anyone have experience with a similar set-up? Can this be used with OKR?
Previously, we’ve done it with a dedicated PowerBi reports but I would rather prefer to have it as OKR?
Any experience with this?
Please let me know.
Thank you.
Tony
To automatically count the number of milestones of a specific type, such as "Type A," per quarter and integrate this with OKRs, you can utilize the WRK15 - Milestone Status report in Planview. This report allows you to count and categorize milestones across your portfolio by milestone type. You can filter milestones by a specific attribute, such as the milestone type, and group them accordingly. This setup can be used to track and report on milestones as part of your OKR framework 12.
Additionally, Planview provides an OKR OData service that is generally available for reporting objectives and key results (OKRs) progress and trends. This service can be connected to Power BI, allowing you to create reports and dashboards that integrate milestone data with OKR tracking 3. This approach can replace your previous method of using dedicated Power BI reports by integrating the milestone data directly into your OKR reporting framework.
For more details, you can refer to the Section - “New Features and Updates for Analytics and Reporting” and content OKRs Reporting with OData - https://success.planview.com/Planview_Portfolios/Planview_Portfolios_Product_Releases/2023/10_October_2023_Release_Notes_for_Planview_Portfolios
