When I enter inside a milestone, there is a related item for gate approval. It has multiple roles and owner assigned. I want to send email to all owner of task when project is sent to gate. But I am getting more emails. I should receive email for task where i am the owner but i am getting email for all tasks. How to restrict recipient where i am the owner?

Hi All!As you may of heard in our May Monthly Customer Webinar, our June release for EA will include modernization for our User’s page! We’ve done two UI Uplifts now this year and plan to continue to modernizing EA!Knowing this, Are there certain pages or parts of EA that you think should get a more modern look and feel sooner than later? What areas if modernized would help you and your team members better utilize EA or adopt it? Are there specific UI/UX improvements you’d like to see?

Curious to know if there are users out there that have frequent VM memory issues with EA, which requires a request to restart the services?  If so, how often do you have to request a service restart and do you know the cause of the memory issue?

Hello, I was hoping if someone could help me the below problem. In a workflow rule to set the Close Date field using Today() function, it is displaying yesterday’s date instead. I read about the UTC time zone and it is expected to show as yesterday but why doesn’t it do the same for the Date Opened field, which in a similar WFR is auto populating the date with Today() function and the correct date is shown. Has anyone had this experience? If it is a bug, I’ll follow process and raise it with the PV support team.

On the Card Scoring in AgilePlace, when performing a scoring based on WSJF a lot of practioners utilize some sort of modified Fibonnaci sequence to score in each of those categories.  At first glance, I can’t seem to make these types of customizations, and it looks like if I want to utlize a modified Fibonnaci scoring for WSJF then I’ll need to precalculate score for those 4 areas and then enter it in the “Score” box manually.   Is there anyway to edit the Card Scoring metrics/categories so it can accept 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 20 either manually typing it in or via a custom drop down?

When a CRI stakeholder receives an email,  there is very little detail of the CR. Risk or Issue, and when clicking the link to approve,  there is no detail,  just approval screen.  For someone to see which project it is associated with,  they have to click more than one link to see the information needed.  This process is not good for executives that are less familiar with Planview Portfolios. We would like to be able to add additional information to notifications and approval screens.  

Hi All, I am trying to create a workflow rule which sends a post when an existing user is changed to a new one, but because the field I am working on is a multi select , I am not getting an option to select it in the evaluation criteria, could anyone help on this?

Hello,I am trying to use data loader to import timesheets for resources across various projects. I’ve referenced the Success articles and sample spreadsheets but I am still unclear on how to specify which timesheets go to which project. There is a field for the WorkItem I recognize but where do you specify the project? Alternatively I’ve also tried importing data (within the project, utilities tab, import) at a singular project level but when I do so I get this error: Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you!

I want to create a custom object which can select projects existing in system. I am able to achieve that. But my custom object should also have milestones and tasks. e.g in workitem we have Projects, milestone and task. Is it possible to create custom object with same features so that I can implement stage and gate on that object too? it should not appear in project anywhere but it should appear as a separate module in navigation bar.

Custom object by default will not have any panel.i have used action item option to configure as per business logic. But is it possible to save custom object as a template?

Hello Community, I’m trying to create a crosstab report that shows resource time spent on client work(bill or not) vs. their overall time spent. We have three types of project categories: Internal, Client Bill & Client NonbillFormula desired = [Client Work Bill & Nonbill] / [All Actual Approved]The issue I’m running into is that the only fields available are Actual Approved, Actual Approved Billable, Actual Approved Nonbill. For this operation to work, I’d need to exclude projects under the Internal category from the numerator, but not the denominator.  If I implement a tab filter, to exclude Internal project time, it takes it out from all the calculations.Does anyone have experience doing a similar calculation?Cross tab report calculation: [Client Work Bill & Nonbill, excluding Internal projects] /[ All Actual Approved Time]

We’re fielding a request to automatically populate the PP Head Admin Field with the LC Administrator.  I know that if no PP Head Admin is selected,  it would default back to the LC Admin.  However, in this scenario,  we have a configured screen where user can designate someone else as the PP Head Admin. The request is to have PPM Admin default to the LC Admin in that screen just for clarity for the user to see that LC Admin is the PP Head Admin.   Easy to do with alternate structures, but not seeing options for LC Roles in scripted dialog config.   Thanks to anyone that has run across this!

Hi everyone, Just looking for some thoughts on how you manage the tracking of non-project time, where you have resources who work on projects but are not 100% project resources. How best can you account for this non-project work in Portfolios? Any guidance would be really helpful.Niamh
