In a configured screen you are able to create a component that is an Internal Reference Link.  We have this today as in Internal Reference Link to Risk & Issues.  We are migrating our Risks and Issues to Logbook, and would like to replace that Internal Reference Link to Logbook.  I did not see this choice being available.  Will this be an option in the future?  Thank you...

We are trying to limit which users can utilize which attributes within the portfolio definition. We have restricted the “View” and “Edit” features of the attribute, but all users can still see the attributes we are trying to restrict to a specific group. Is there anyway to lock down the access to these attributes on the portfolio definition screen?

We would like to raise an enhancement request based on customer feedback regarding the way forecast revenue is currently calculated in AdaptiveWork.At present, the system’s financial model calculates forecast revenue at the project level, using the formula:Planned Billed Expenses + MAX(Expected Revenue, Revenue EAC) × Cost Allocation (%)This calculation is applied regardless of the state of individual tasks. Hello Portfolios Community,This might have been a change within the last week or so as I did not notice this for the September release notes recently. Previously when navigating to release notes we’d navigate to Customer Success Center > Documentation > Portfolios> Product Releases > New Feature Upgrade Guide and be presented with a grid. The grid would have 3 columns, the major section (i.e General Updates, Work, Resources), the sub-section (i.e FastTrack Analytics, Data Sources) and then the list of updates and the date (month YYYY) in which they released. Clicking on a sub-section would then take you to a separate page for that sub-section with all the headings for release items as well as additional details and screenshots (similar to how we currently see them with the monthly releases). Currently when we navigate to New Feature Upgrade Guide we have a dropdown list with the major sections as collapsible but no navigation to the secondary sub-sec

Hello! Is there a way to expand a text box within a form in AdaptiveWork? I know I can change the CSS in Global setting but that only allows me to make the default size of forms to wider or narrower. Scrolls do appear within the frame of the text box when the content is longer than the height of the text box, but it is annoying not being able to see what I typed at the very top without scrolling up. Hello, Our PMO are Superusers within AdaptiveWork but will also be approving timesheets and supporting other staff with their timesheets. As we are superusers, we can see all timesheets within the system as a big list. However, when we go to the approvals module, we cannot filter effectively on items such asApprover User type ManagerThis will lead to issues in supporting staff effectively and would prefer to have the functionality that is available in the other areas where you can set a view and filter. Any help or development in place?

Hi,I have been reading about API keys here: https://success.clarizen.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011833079-API-Keys-Support and have hope someone here has experience about key management, especially with respect to their expiry.The systems I will be having to give API access into AdaptiveWork are likely to be externally managed, so there will be time and cost associated with changing keys, and I am obviously trying to avoid any time periods where the external system cannot access AdaptiveWork.I understand how to create an API key, but see that it has an expiry set on it by default of, I think, a year. Is there any way to create a key with a longer expiry (so I don’t need to worry about this ever ideally)?If not, is there any way to extend the expiry date so a fresh key is not required? (and ideally generate a remin

**EDIT:  The title should read “Effort to Duration Ratio”.  I don’t appear to be able to edit the title**Hello everyone.I want to produce a report that shows a ratio of how long it takes to deliver a project vs how much effort was assigned to it.I’d also like to assign the same formula to actual cost vs budget assigned.For example:  100 hours assigned but 200 hours duration would be a ratio of 2 - its taken twice as long to deliver as the hours assigned.  This is a key metric for us at it allows us to see how quickly we can deliver projects.The calculation is simple enough - $Duration / $BudgetedHours.  But I receive the following error: “Error: Formula evaluation result data type is Numeric instead of expected Duration" Thanks for any assistance

I have got a workflow rule that runs on an update to risk/issues, counting the total # of open risk/issues (by status) from the parent project. The counts returned are incorrect when the workflow runs it, but noticed that if it simply runs a second or two later it is correct.What’s the best way to incorporate a pause or delay to avoid this problem?

HiPlanView AdaptiveWorkOne of the excel templates for global custom fiscal calendar setup contains start of the month, end of the month and number of days in the month (which are computed in the excel sheet by formula). We did that and then imported the template. But there is hardly any noticeable change.Which makes me wonder what difference does global custom fiscal calendar make in processing of data?Any pointers will be highly appreciated.Regards

Hi everyone,For reporting purposes, I need to display — at project level — two specific fields:One showing only open risks One showing only open issuesBy “open” I mean those in status: Submitted, Opened, or In Work.Currently, I’m using the standard Risks and Issues fields from the project entity, but these include all related items, regardless of status, and they are not editable.I tried modifying the report by including Cases as related data, applying filters on status. This works in terms of filtering, but it breaks the structure of the report: I end up with one row per open case, while I need one row per project.Has anyone found a way to:Filter risks and issues by status at the project level? Or aggregate open risks/issues into a single field or count per project?Any suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance,Fabrizio

Question:We have a custom field called Initiative Type with multiple options. One of the options is Minor Budget Request (MBR).When a user selects MBR under Initiative Type, we would like the Project Sub Type field to display only two specific options: Business Planning and Out of Cycle Initiative.If the user selects any other Initiative Type, the Project Sub Type field should display the usual/default set of options.Has anyone configured this kind of conditional dependency between fields in Planview? If so, what is the best way to achieve it?
