To get the accurate conversion of resource efforts from hours to fte for a given month, the formula is: FTE  = efforts in hours/ (7 hours per day X number of working days in a month) (Example:  if a person has worked 120 hours in July 2025, that has 23 working days then the fte = 120/7 X 23) = 120/161 = .75fte) Our Calendar in Global settings mentions number of days in a month as 20. This field is mandatory.As a result of this, efforts when viewed in project assignment, staff request pages and capacity planning application in fte do not display accurate results.How to get the system to dynamically pick up the actual number of working days in a month (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) and not a fixed value.Thanks in advance.

I was advised via Planview case #00913891 to raise this enhancement request as it is currently a limitation that users can not change the Prices and Rates window layout. As shown in the screenshot, we want to keep only Billing Rates Regular Hour in this window and remove everything else as we don’t use them.I was told that it is not currently supported to change this layout through the profile section out of the box or via CSS.

Hello everyone,I’m creating a workflow that only needs to trigger when one of four .duration fields are changed.I thought it would be this but its generating the error in the subject:IsChanged($C_PMHoursSold || $C_FoCPMHours || $C_TechHoursSold || $C_FoCTechHours)Any help would be much appreciated

We are finding that when a person is allocated to a project, and that allocation completes the system (progression) is not always removing that project from the resources timesheet.  Is there some specific logic that progression uses that creates an exception to removing the proeject from “Select Work”?Unfortunately, we have found that in these cases - the resource allocation appears the person should not be time writing to the preject, but the system continue to allow the time writing.  Note this will show as negative on the person’s timesheet, but does not prevent time writing.Thanks,Joe

Now that the Planned Hours Remaining field has been fixed, we turned it back on and noticed that there was an alert when a user has negative hours. This alert instructs users to enter a new estimate in the Revised Estimate column but we don’t have that column turned on as it does not alert the project manager who is usually not the resource manager that they need more hours.  How could we do one of the following?Update that message to instruct them to reach out to the project manager Turn off the alert when we don’t use the Revised Hours column Add Revised Estimates field as a reportable field either in an existing or new report or in a tile

Hello, I have been trying to run time reports for 2024 but with no luck, the data is there and I can pull the last week of December and onwards into 2025 but nothing for 2024…. any ideas what may be causing this?

Hello,We have a team that reviews documents associated with a project; this is initiated by a lifecycle step.  Sometimes they have to send it back to the user for revision.   They would like to receive an automated notification when the file has been updated and re-uploaded...sometimes more than once.  Have any of you have been able to make this happen without creating additional lifecycle steps to loop the document/content review process?  Thank you.  

Has anyone been seeing strange issues with their resources and or timesheet after upgrading to June. We are have time disappear and not being able to use the portfolio Timesheet functionality unless we do it on Fridays. We also had issues with costs for resource disappear out of our financial plans.  Anyone else having issues.. We went from March to June release.
