We work very intensively with Kanban boards and the cards. The cards are usually assigned to several employees who work on the topics and work them out. For our daily work, we would very much like to be able to open the cards in a separate window, or at least to be able to adjust the size more variably in order to have better visibility of the content and thus significantly improve the work.  The lack of functionality for modern formatting of the texts in the cards generates little acceptance of the tool among our users. Every user has understandable expectations when it comes to formatting text, which are currently not met in the slightest, or only with great difficulty. Over the last month, our Job Stream service has shut down twice over the weekend and not come back on. This is not accompanied by any error messages. This occurred first overnight August 3rd-4th, and most recently the night of August 28th-29th. Both times we’ve had to submit a Customer Care ticket to get the job schedule service back up and running.  My questions are:Has anyone else experienced this issue?  Does anyone know what might be causing this and how to prevent it?  Is there a way to restart the service on our own?

I wanted to understand how this project tracking against plan works. Actual vs forecast/budget etc

In our resource management process, the requirement is created; and the supervisor (resource manager) allocates.  After the allocation is created from the requirement, the supervisors often update the allocation.  The issue is that in the staffing screen, the supervisor cannot see (or at least we have not determined how to view) what remains in that requirement.  Therefore, supervisors are OFTEN over allocating to the requirement.  Bottomline is there a way to display the requirement’s remaining effort?

Hello,We have a range of Projects where we want to setup a Project specific rate.Currently we use the ‘Prices and Rates’ functionality within the Work Plan (Resourcing tab) to acheive this, but we have to set the rate for each Resource line by line.Does anyone know of a way to use a Custom Action or Workflow to try and bulk update these impacted Resources on a Project or for when a Resource is newly added to a Project in future to apply a set Project rate?Currently we’re looking in the ‘Resource’ → ‘Assigned’ → ‘All Links’ in Configuration to see if this is possible.  Many Thanks,Sean

The only way I have been able to create capacity less than 1.0 for users is by creating calendars in sub-groups. My org is large and we have many many non 1.0 employees, and at varying %FTEs. How have you handled this at large? I can’t manually keep up with it every week...

I am building a tile to show any projects opened in the last two weeks.    Is there any way to do this in a tile?   I am using a fixed date now but this will need to be manually updated every week.  Any ideas appreciated.  

I am wondering what sets the default Work Portfolio.  No matter what the last Work Portfolio I view, when I come back into Work, this one Work Portfolio always comes up.  I no longer care about it so i guess I can delete it but I’m wondering what is causing it to always be my default.  

Is there a way to do scenario planning in a schedule without it messing up my actual schedule

Can timesheet be submitted monthly by calendar month? 

Is there a way to have an attributes parent level available to add as a column? I was hoping the Generate parent level fields would make that level available but it looks like that is only for the Primary structures.

When adding a new resource, we would like for that resource’s direct manager to automatically be added as a Reviewer to the project.  This will help streamline some of our stakeholder management. Instead of PMs having to manually look up the direct managers for status reports, they will automatically be listed as a Reviewer.

Each year we run a cycle of annual planning, looking forward to the next 3 years or so, assessing existing and new candidate strategies and allocating budgets - an iterative approach which can take some months to complete, balancing off the ambition vs the budget. But this isn’t just about balancing the budget - Part of this exercise focuses on the resource capacity to manage the change, and whilst this should play a critical part in sequencing and ‘doability’ planning, we're finding this difficult to perform within Planview & keen to understand how others take resource capacity into account. I assume we could make use of the functionality on ICP, but to do this, we’d need to spec out all candidate projects - using planning best practice that would mean building representative WBS's for everything, even when solutions are unclear, then creating the requirements against the WBS. Hi everyone - I’m new here :)We are in the process of building a ‘big room planning’ view in AgilePlace and curious how others have set up their data.I have a number of teams boards I would like to integrate into a Program or Portfolio board view.  I have added the horizontal rows for each of the team boards, but can’t figure out how to make the cards from the team boards to appear in the Program.  And, because we are very new at this discipline, I would love to hear from others if there is a better way to go about setting up the planning.  Thanks in advance!

I have a unique need to setup the TE Line(s) for our engineering community is a way that once Requirements are set to that TE Line NOTHING (except for the project manager updating) modifies the Start and End dates.  I fully understand that this is not how the system is designed, and again stress this is a unique situation that I am looking for advice / “work around”.  Inputs and recommendations are very much appreciated.

I am creating a project template in which i added 5 milestones. I have given the dependency for milestones as predecessors and successors. Still it allowed me to complete the milestone 3 before I completed milestone 2. How to put restriction? Do i need to write workflow rule? Then what is the use of setting dependency in workplan?
