We noticed this month our timesheets now default to the beginning of the month. Even if it has been signed and approved. I tested in one of our sandbox where we have the cutoff set for May 31st and the timesheets default to the beginning of June. Anyone else seeing this?

I am importing a project WBS and I am building a data loader import to capture the predecessor information for each workitem as a DependencyLinks import. In the source data, some of the Lag durations are in workdays (d) and some are in calendar days (ed). ed basically includes weekends, holidays, etc.  Is there a way to indicate the difference between these two duration types for my import?

I want to check if we can remove the license from Planview AdaptiveWork when an account is disabled. We are using Azure AD as an IDP. Though we remove the member from SSO group, license assignment is still in place within AdaptiveWork. So, how to remove the license when an account is disabled in AD and removed from SSO group?

Hi All,Has anyone created a custom action where any open RAID items are automatically closed when a project state is updated to completed? 

I am able to make a report listing project assignment by resource within AdaptiveWork reporting by pulling in the Project and Resources module. Within the Excel Add-in I am having trouble locating the Resources module and. Does anyone know where it is located within the Excel Add-in? 

Hello,We have many employees who are part-time and we have adjusted their work schedules in the individual calendar so that their capacity is less than 100%. For example, a resource that works 30 hours per week (out of 40 hours total) will have a capacity of 75%.Our users get very confused when reviewing the Resource Planning module/view and compare capacity and assignment when Units is selected. The capacity of the resource might be 75%, so our users think that all of the assignments should only total to 75% or less. Actually, the assignments should total to 100% or whatever the target utilization is for the resource. Unfortunately, our users consistently fail to remember this and we have to retrain them continuously.Does anyone have any suggestions for how to help users remain that assignments, when viewed in Units, can be more than the capacity of the resource if the resource is part-time?Thank you,Carey

Hi All,    Has anyone had any luck or experience developing a Mass Upload/Update tool on their own to interact with Portfolio’s open API’s? I heard someone mentioned in another forum that they knew of a few companies that got this to work. I know Planview utlizes a tool themselves to update attributes in Mass from an excel sheet (or at least it’s prepped in a custom excel sheet). It would really help out with support if we were able to make these changes to any attribute, structure, resource information.  Just curious if anyone had any luck incolving any of this.

Anyone else having issues after the July Release?  Our user base cannot view the entire Work Details screen. Our screen is configured to use Smart logic - Sections of the screen are visible based on work classification type. Our end users are not able to see sections based on work classifications, only the top section which is open to all. Strangely, admins cannot see this issue, which makes it difficult to troubleshoot.

To get the accurate conversion of resource efforts from hours to fte for a given month, the formula is: FTE  = efforts in hours/ (7 hours per day X number of working days in a month) (Example:  if a person has worked 120 hours in July 2025, that has 23 working days then the fte = 120/7 X 23) = 120/161 = .75fte) Our Calendar in Global settings mentions number of days in a month as 20. This field is mandatory.As a result of this, efforts when viewed in project assignment, staff request pages and capacity planning application in fte do not display accurate results.How to get the system to dynamically pick up the actual number of working days in a month (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) and not a fixed value.Thanks in advance.

I was advised via Planview case #00913891 to raise this enhancement request as it is currently a limitation that users can not change the Prices and Rates window layout. As shown in the screenshot, we want to keep only Billing Rates Regular Hour in this window and remove everything else as we don’t use them.I was told that it is not currently supported to change this layout through the profile section out of the box or via CSS.
