I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has had the need to do this and has come up with a solution:Our projects have various milestones based on strategy. All projects have a “Define” and “Close out” phase but the middle phases are different based on what the strategy of the project is. In the close out phase, the invoices are being paid, paperwork is being completed, etc. We consider the project “Completed” for the client prior to the Close out phase and we need to measure if we are completing these projects on time or not. I’ve asked a consultant to pull in the baseline variance calculation for the milestone that falls before the Close out phase (this milestone won’t always have the same name as we use templates based on strategy so they do vary). I’m told they cannot create a workflow rule to pull in the baseline variance calculation of the milestone before closeout because there is not a dependency between the two milestones. Has anyone come up with a creative way

If I am creating a custom status field, and want to use the same red-yellow-green circle images that the built in status fields use, is there a way to access these images, or do I just have to roll my own? Thanks. 

We are finding great success with using iCal Subscriptions to expose to Resources (who are not Users) their Assignments from AdaptiveWork.Unfortunately, those iCal feeds do not seem to refresh very often (like only every 24 hours?).Anyone know how often AdaptiveWork refreshes the data? And can we do anything to shorten the update cycle?If there's no setting we can change (to 'update hourly' or the like) ... would it be feasible to create a Custom Action that gives us an "Update iCal Now" capability? If so, could you point me in the right direction for what Object or Action I need to manipulate to affect that?

HelloWe have a number of very old resource load reports (created between 2015 and 2017) that we cannot edit except to add columns to it. I cannot edit as an Admin but was able to update the Owner to me but even that doesn’t allow me to edit the report. Is there a setting that I’m missing somewhere that needs to be enabled? Thank you :) 

I can only find 6 Dashboard templates - 1 is called the Executive Dashboard.  Where can I find the other Dashboard templates in the Planview Adaptive works tool? Thank you!Sharyn

Hi, does anyone use InterAct? If anyone uses it, would appreciate some feedback before I enable it. It just looks very old and I’m not sure if it’s being replaced with something else in the near future.Thanks and regards Jess

Hello Planview Community,I’ve got 8 hour work days set for a certain user group however when I add a full day’s Leave time in their calendar, it shows them OOO for 7.5 hours. I assume this is due to the global setting we have for all other users that work a 7.5 hour workday. Every time I try to edit the 8hr day resources’ leave to 8 hours instead of 7.5 hours. Is there a setting somewhere I can fix this? Thanks!  

HiI am trying to get my company to stop saying “Clarizen” and use rather “Planview” or “AdaptiveWork” but the URL which remains the same (at least for us EU customers) makes it difficult. Do you know when this will be changed to something more in line with the rebranding? Thanks,Manuel

Hello,I am trying to develop and role out a Kanban board that our engineering teams can use to claim and track work items across various projects. There are a laundry list of improvements I could offer up, but I have mostly found work arounds / custom solutions for majority of those…One main feature of Kanban boards that I cannot figure out how to get it to work for our use case, is the ability for Team Members to ‘claim’ a task that they did not create. Across various projects, there could be tasks added to the board from various folks that the engineering team will be picking and choosing tasks to work on. I am running into issues with them grabbing a task from the board and being able to edit any of the content or status of the task. It is not ideal for the “Owner” to have to go and switch Owners or assign each resource every time a new task needs to be worked. Is there really no way with the current permission capabilities I can enable Team Members to grab these ta

When I enter inside a milestone, there is a related item for gate approval. It has multiple roles and owner assigned. I want to send email to all owner of task when project is sent to gate. But I am getting more emails. I should receive email for task where i am the owner but i am getting email for all tasks. How to restrict recipient where i am the owner?

Hello, I was hoping if someone could help me the below problem. In a workflow rule to set the Close Date field using Today() function, it is displaying yesterday’s date instead. I read about the UTC time zone and it is expected to show as yesterday but why doesn’t it do the same for the Date Opened field, which in a similar WFR is auto populating the date with Today() function and the correct date is shown. Has anyone had this experience? If it is a bug, I’ll follow process and raise it with the PV support team.
